Hello dear tumblr friends! After a lot of time and hard work I am excited to present you with my India pilgrimage blog/donation site. I feel so thankful to connect with you through this medium and share in the beauty and inspiration we find all around us. Any way you can help make this journey possible for me is unspeakably appreciated. Bookmark or subscribe to the site for updates and I will continue to post updates of my progress here on tumblr as well. Please reblog and share theworldpulse.com widely. Vijayadasami (day of victory) puja at Jaya Kula 10/16/2010
i received diksha (initiation) from my teacher that evening, which included receiving my new name: Nandikesha, the ox-vehicle of Lord Shiva, his gaze forever fixed in meditative bliss upon his Lord.
the entire retreat was literally life-changing, it was an unspeakable blessing to have the chance to spend four undistracted days with Shambhavi, immersed in practice and opening totally to the teachings. i’ve learned so much! and so far yet to go! :) may any fruit from my time spent there, however humble, be of benefit to all beings. JAI MA!
in Ma’s Love,
Nandikesha

OM NAMAH SHIVAYA
May quietness descend upon my limbs, my speech,
my breath, my eyes, my ears;
May all my senses wax clear and strong…
May Brahman show himself unto me…
Never may i deny Brahman, nor Brahman me…
i with Him and He with me, may we abide always together…
May there be revealed to me, who am devoted to Brahman,
the holy truths of the Upanishads…
OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI
OM Jai Siva Shankara!
